With a full range of communications packages offering guaranteed data delivery, MCL-Collection for MT2000 can handle all your MT2000 communications requirements.

For MT2000 running MCL applications with serial RS232, USB, or Bluetooth communications, use one of the following MCL-Link products:

• MCL-Link Lite for MT2000, or

• MCL-Link for MT2000 (available in 1, 4 and 8 device configurations)

As shown in the feature comparison table below, for basic batch upload capability, MCL-Link Lite for MT2000 is all you need. However, for more advanced or automated communications, you need MCL-Link for MT2000.

For MT2000 using WiFi communications, MCL offers a couple of ways to communicate with your host:

• MCL-Link for MT2000 (available in 1, 4 or 8 device configurations)

• MCL-Net

With support for one (1), four (4), or eight (8) WiFi devices per physical comm. port, MCL-Link for MT2000 is suitable for small WiFi deployments.

For larger WiFi deployments, use MCL-Net. It allows you to deploy up to 250 WiFi devices for concurrent use over a network.

Note: MCL-Net is a core component of standard MCL-Collection. It supports the MT2000 Series in addition to any MCL enabled WiFi mobile computers you have on your network.
